The Wheelers is a rockin' rockabilly band from Finland, and was put together 1992 in Salo.
The band started as a trio without drums (Esa on vocals/acoustic guitar,Vito on electric guitar and Ilpo on double-bass).
On the begining of 1993, Juha (Schali) joined the band as a drummer. First gigs was played later that spring.
On spring 1995, Juha left the band and second drummer Kari joined in. On 1999 Pekka joined the band as a washboard player.
Currently Pekka has been taken care "stand-up-drums", so the current line-up is Vito, Esa, Ilpo and Pekka

The music that we are playing composed our own material with old and new rockabilly tunes,
countryrocks'n ballads and guitar instrumentals.

On summer 2003, we started rehersal songs of Buddy Holly,
and we found ;~) this fellow, who sounds and even looks like Buddy, so Jouni Ringborg
joined the Wheelers as a lead vocalist on "Buddy Holly Show"
